How does your Mind Look Like?

Well, we all wonder how our minds look like. Then the above image will give you the reflection of it. Your mind is just like a plain piece of paper, absolutely nothing written on it. When I say not…

Today’s Christmas writing prompt –

Source: Christmas Writing Prompt #11: Favourite Christmas Caro

A Christmas Carol or Noel comes from the French word Christmas.

The word Christmas Carol refers to a piece of vocal music, which uses the Christmas season as its theme. Christmas Carol are religiously based and centre on the Christian belief  of the Birth of Jesus

Growing up as a child, I sang many Christmas carols, at church, in school and my neighbour’s front door. Here are a few examples  We Three Kings (an Epiphany song), Deck the Hall (a pagan Yuletide drinking song) and  Silent Night – ( composed in 1818 by Franz Xaver Gruber to lyrics by Joseph Mohr ) of carol’s I sang.

My favourite Christmas carol is the Drummer Boy.

Amsterdam is the Netherlands’ capital, known for its artistic heritage, elaborate canal system and narrow houses with gabled facades.

Cycling is key to the city’s character, and there are numerous bike paths. In fact, cyclers have more right of way than pedestrians. This building is one of the major bicycle parking structures.

We visited the wooden thong factory, ceramic painting factory, and cheese factory (with cheese tasting).

Visiting Anne Frank Huts was a must. Her hiding place was a room with the door blocked by a bookcase. In my early teaching years, Anne Frank’s Diary was on the student’s reading list.

We visited the Van Gogh Museum on a rainy day, so no photos were taken. I found a Van Gogh painting from Google images.
